After leaving Alicante we headed to Barcelona for one night and then took a plane to Dublin the next day.
This cathdral was a couple of blocks from our hostel. Very beautiful :)
This is a building designed by Gaudi (I am pretty sure). We sent a postcard to our Grandparents of this building and not twenty minutes after we sent the postcard, we happened to see this building from the bus we were on.

I am not sure if you can see it but there are pigeons roosting within these ancient walls... crazy huh?
We stumbled across this giant chain-link fence sculpture while wandering the streets of Barcelona.
This picture was taken following a protest outside of what looked like a major bank. We were not sure what the protest was for but we think it had to do with the law that allows banks to foreclose homes and make those individuals pay monthly fees even though the family could not make their monthly payments.
